Soft Shell Crab Burgers

Remember to remove as much liquid from the raw soft shells inorder to achieve crispy results.

Tempura Mix is an excellent for deep frying of seafood.

Mix 150ml of water to 150g of Tempura Mix.

Whisk gently to a smooth paste.

Set aside for ten minutes.

Preheat oil in wok to 190 degrees C for deep frying.

Dip the soft shell crabs into the batter paste.

Dip each soft shell crab into the batter and deep fry until golden brown.


Use kitchen paper towel to drain excess cooking oil before adding into the buns.


You can serve the crispy soft shell crabs in buns with or without dressing.

Plain like this with no dressing.

Taste just as good.


Add Kewpie Honey Mustard Sauce.


How about Chilli Crab Sauce and garnished with fresh lettuces.
