My favorite method of serving Cod fish is to poach it.
Just bring the water to simmer over medium heat.
Cook approximately about ten minutes or until the centre of the fish is opaque and it flakes easily when prodded with a fork.
When the fish is done, remove into a serving plate.
Compliment with Hongkong style gravy and garnished with a great amount of spring onions and crispy fried shallots.
Cod is a low-fat source of protein and contains a significant amount of iodine. A good source of Omega-3 fatty acids.
The Cod fish flesh is silky and simply melts in your mouth.
Does not require too much seasoning.
While poaching the fish, heat up the sauce and bring to a boil with the following ingredients.
1 tablespoon Superior light Soy Sauce
1 teaspoon Rock Sugar
1 tablespoon Sesame Oil
2 tablespoon Water.
Cod Fish should be immediately served after cooking.
