Do not mistaken baby Threadfin for the regular
Threadfin.
This wild caught baby Threadfin is a specie on its own with sweet, flaky and delicate meat.
Best served by steaming.
Steam the fish in the steamer until its fully cooked around ten minutes.
Once the fish eyes are poached, use a pair of chopstick and prickled into the thickness portion of the steamed fish. If it’s firm, it’s ready to serve.
Transfer to a serving plate.
Add your seasoning and gravy.
Topped with garnishing like chopped spring onions etc.
For a twist of flavour, I have added chopped Chinese Chives with a generous amount of julienned young ginger.
Yums.
