How about a bowl of refreshing Mee Tai Mak for lunch?
What goes best with this soup?
None other than home prepared minced pork and shrimp meatballs.
In a bowl, mix minced pork and chopped shrimps and add light soy sauce for flavouring.
Mix thoroughly together with a tablespoon of cornflour.
Leave the mixture to sit for about 20 minutes before boiling.
For this soup base, I used home prepared Black Chicken Soup.
Add the meatballs into the broth and bring to a boil before adding some Chinese cooking wine.
Taste the broth and add more seasoning if required.
Garnished with chopped scallions and deep fried onion before serving.
The best type of shrimps are these fresh caught from the sea.
