Microgreens are young seedlings of edible vegetables and herbs. They are grown in soil and sunlight and take about a week to produce leaves. Simply use a pair of scissor and snip the microgreens slightly above the soil.
Rinse them with tap water gently since microgreens are so delicate.
These tiny versions only grow to a few inches tall.
Now microgreens can be grown at home and can be added to a salad dish and are best eaten raw to maximize their freshness and nutrients.

I have added frozen Alaskan king crab legs to these microgreens and look at the lovely combination.
Topped with your favourite salad dressing and is ready to serve.
